Welcome To Chemical Engineering
TThe Department of Chemical Engineering started academic activities at the beginning of the 1999/2000 Session. The syllabus for the Chemical Engineering degree programme was initially approved by the University Senate in 1983 along with the syllabi of other Departments in the Faculty of Engineering. However, the Department of Chemical Engineering did not take off with other Departments during the 1984/85 session. The University Senate approved a new syllabus for the Department which subsequently commenced activities in the 1999/2000 session.

I am a Medical Laboratory Scientist and a Professor in Chemical Pathology. I am a lecturer and a researcher in Implementation Science University of Maiduguri. Producing accurate results that help in timely intervention and improve patient care, is my goal when I work on bench as a Laboratory Scientist. Discoveries during research, screenings and relating to those concern to find help or solution is the great fulfilment in life for me.
